Knuckles has not left the building.

Just returned from Road Trip 2004.

Knuckles just loves driving so the three-day-there three-day-back marathons were great. The new digital Nikon got a workout. Over 2,300 shots were taken. The one complaint Knuckles has is that you can’t just pick up a digital camera and point and click. You gotta turn it on, wait for it to boot, zoom, and finally wait for it to focus and capture the image.

When you’re traveling 85 miles an hour, you tend to miss some nice moments.

Pictures will be posted after they are culled.

The ad agency client needed ever greater amounts of work completed under insanely short deadlines, so the wife and kids had to be content visiting the ocean, swimming in the heated pool and relaxing in the hot tub, playing tennis and basketball on private courts, and being feted by friendly, cultured friends and relatives.

On the bright side, Knuckles old reliable Mac laptop just couldn’t handle the workflow and a new iBook was purchased. Woo-hoo. Let’s hear it for workflow.

The next two weeks will be busy, but Knuckles hopes to return to posting gratuitous cheap shots insightful commentary.

I for one am glad. It's been a long, dry spell...

It sure was. I was starting to wonder if you might be dead.
