When Nancy Reagan met Queen Elizabeth as First Lady, she curtsied. The sphincter-breathed snobs in the press went into a freeform tizzy. "Ewwww, how de classé. How bourgeois. That's not how we were taught to curtsy in finishing school." And those were the guys. The journalettes weren't much better.
The basic Democrat talking point was that Nancy didn't owe the Queen any allegience and therefore didn't owe her curtsey. (Of course these same rectal probes didn't raise any objections when Hillary had to strap on a burka and douche with camel spit before being allowed to mourn King Sodomized-The-Goats-Of-A-Thousand-Villages of Jordan a few years back.)
So when Maggie curtsied before the Reagan casket last week, she returned a courtesy that the Left could never even begin to understand.
